  Went there for lunch yesterday (Bank Holiday Monday) Very disappointed, a number of the main items on the menu were not available and we had to choose alternatives. Our starter came at the same time as our main meal, vegetables were cold , we had to go looking for cutlery and salt and pepper.
  Service poor, expensive for what it was. Basically unimpressed .with the the service.and the food which was very bland .
  We did receive an apology and were offered a complementary drink but we declined as we had already had a drink with our meal.

  Went to The Ship, Polperro with my mate Farmer Giles and some Americans we'd met at The Blue Peter (another excellent pub). We took 'em to see the brilliant Southern Jelly Band who were performing at The Ship.
  The Tribute beer was in superb condition and we had a great night, drinking more than we'd planned due to the excellent beer, outstanding live music and the friendly atmosphere.
  TAXI...!!
  The Ship is on my list next time I visit Polperro and our friends from Connecticut are planning to return too...
